Hot Ticket Café servers pre-theater fare in the lobby of the Bonfils Center in the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
We are open for all performances by the Denver Center Theater Company. For sold-out shows, come early because the line for dinner starts early! |
Jay Solomon, owner of Jay’s Patio Café on 2563 15th Street, has opened Hot Ticket Café, a pre-theater eatery located in the Denver Center for Performing Arts complex in downtown Denver.
Hot Ticket Café features the signature panini, salads, soups, cookies, and espresso drinks found on the menu at Jay’s Patio Café, including Wasabi Roast Beef, Pesto Chicken, Chipotle Turkey, and Blackened Chicken Ceasar’s Salad.
The pre-theater café has opened to rave reviews. "Hot Ticket Café has been an exciting collaboration with the DCPA and Jay’s Patio Cafe," Solomon says. "The theater crew of the DCPA helped build the café, and the marketing department designed an awesome logo."
Solomon is a 20- year veteran of the restaurant business and has opened eight eateries. "This is a challenging café concept — there is a sense of urgency and anticipation in the theater lobby every night. We strive to offer light, fresh gourmet meals to the theater patrons, many who are clutching their tickets and short on time." Solomon also plans to develop a web site,
www.HotTicketCafe.com, so that theater patrons can pre-order their meals.
Hot Ticket Café opens nineties minutes before a production, (performed by the Denver Center Theater Company) and remains open for intermissions. For more information, visit www.JaysPatioCafe.com.
